Chris cont'd...

"I've always known there is a reason and I know now that going through all that has made me a better person and God has shown me that there is always a purpose when he is involved. My life verse is Phil 4:7 ['The peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.']... I am happily married to a Godly woman and we are raising four beautiful and wonderful children. We also work in our church and community within children programs because we want to be an example of Jesus to these kids as people from my past and childhood were to me. With everything that I ever went through I can say with honesty and a clear heart that I have never laid a hand on anyone in anger, hurtfulness, lust, greed, or any other way that would be what the Evil One would appreciate. I could go on and on with the good and bad parts of my life but I want to keep it short.

With all that I want to say that I think you are doing a wonderful job with your writing. I am a huge believer in 'out of the blue', 'love at first site', 'God directed (and approved) love' and enjoy what you have written and how you have include scripture into your writing so beautifully. I like the way you write success and overcoming into your stories. It prints a real picture of hope and positive possibilities. I also wanted to add that I visited my dad in prison once a couple years ago (after not seeing him for seventeen years) and it was a wonderful experience and that time together is nothing but thought of as happiness. I also don't hold anything against my dad (though I will probably always have scars). I want to thank anyone involved in prison ministry for the work that they do because it is through people like them that have shown people like my dad (and Jake) the Light." - Chris (a man)
